Second-line treatments

In addition to routine primary care, Marvan-Kroll Veterinary Clinic offers a comprehensive range of secondary care treatments. These include specialist examinations and procedures that go beyond standard veterinary medicine. Thanks to our many years of experience and state-of-the-art facilities, we are able to resolve complex medical issues in-house.

We not only treat our own patients, but also perform operations and examinations for animals referred to us by other veterinary practices.

Our services:

Our clinic offers a wide range of secondary care services. We provide advanced diagnostics and surgical procedures:

  • Orthopaedics and knee surgery: We specialise in treating bone fractures and knee problems, such as torn cruciate ligaments or an unstable kneecap (patellar dislocation).
  • Soft tissue surgery: This encompasses a wide range of operations on organs or the skin, ranging from tumour removal to complex abdominal surgery.
  • Specialist surgery: We perform surgical procedures that require a high degree of precision and experience, often using specialist techniques.
  • Radiology and ultrasound: Using modern imaging techniques, we examine your pet’s body to make accurate diagnoses of lameness, internal diseases or organic abnormalities.
  • Dermatology: Comprehensive investigation of persistent skin problems, allergies and ear infections that require additional expertise.
  • Second opinion: Thanks to our many years of experience in complex surgery and diagnostics, you can come to us for an independent second opinion when a previous treatment or diagnosis requires further investigation.

Advanced equipment for maximum safety
Successful treatment begins with a safe environment. All our operations take place in a specially equipped operating theatre. This is fitted with modern monitoring equipment that continuously measures your pet’s heart rate, breathing, oxygen saturation and pulse. During the procedure, we use safe gas anaesthesia (inhalation anaesthetics), enabling us to precisely adjust the anaesthesia.

Personal attention and peace

Good support is essential, particularly when it comes to complex procedures. We understand that an operation or specialist examination can be a nerve-wracking experience for you as the owner. That is why we ensure clear communication before, during and after treatment. Your pet will stay with us in a quiet recovery room, where we closely monitor their progress to ensure a comfortable recovery.
